ET SPRAYER : Defining, Ideating, Prototyping

The Project:

We re-designed the Apache ET Sprayer Calculation Tool, a web application that helps buyers decide whether it would be a cheaper option for them to buy or lease a sprayer depending on a variety of factors personalized towards the user.

Foldable table design for ease of reading results and comparisons

Simple drop-down input system

Top progress bar to show progress and easily maneuver between steps

Easy button selections for key options for 

Simple scroll bars for data inputs 

Developing the Information Architecture:

  • We created a flow map detailing the user flow of using the application.

  • we needed to have a clear understanding of user decisions. Mapping out flows helped identify risks, creates alignment early on, and reduces late-stage costly gaps.
